What’s in it for you:
As an Executive of the Institutional Desk you are supporting the daily work of the Corporate Advisory Team servicing clients mostly located across Europe and the Asian regions. You are responsible for assisting the team in consulting with companies regarding their Shareholder Meeting and the potential reaction of their institutional shareholder base. You will be involved in some high level and often contentious situations our clients face and see the impact of your work.

The position of the Institutional Desk Executive is a multi-faceted one that requires verbal communications skills, writing skills, research skills, analytical abilities, and financial acumen. Ipreo provides hands-on training in an atmosphere that fosters teamwork and emphasizes client service. The chosen candidate does not require any previous experience, but needs to be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing and communicative person. The aim is to establish and maintain ongoing relationships with the assigned investor universe.

  • Have a thorough understanding of the institutional Buy side community, Advisory Service Firms and Proxy Voting Rules and Regulations
  • Proficiency in time management and prioritisation skills for tasks depending on requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills applicable for communication with external contacts as well as internal colleagues
  • Self-motivating and innovative thinking to enable the team to succeed

Desired Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Additional language skills are advantageous
